Mike is a graduate of Baylor University with triple majors in Greek, Religion and History. He attended the University of Houston where he received his Masters degree in History. Mike became the pastor at Monument Baptist Church on June 1, 1970. He and his wife Donna have three children- Kelly, a high school principal, Kerry, an attorney, and Kara an orthodontist. They also have 6 beautiful grandchildren.
Arnold Jennings
Associate Pastor
Brother Arnold entered the Gospel Ministry in 1945 when the Lord called him to preach. He pastored his first church as a student at the University of Corpus Christi, a Baptist University affiliated with the BGCT. He earned a B.A. in Bible and English. In 1953 he founded the Good Samaritan’s Rescue Mission in Corpus Christi, one of the largest missions in Texas. Brother Arnold joined the staff of Monument Baptist Church in November 1970. He and his wife Sue reside in Deer Park.
Niki Hays

Niki came on staff in 2000 while attending Houston Baptist University. She earned her Bachelors degree in Christianity and Speech Communications. She went on to earn her Masters degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Niki and her husband Ryan, a band director in LPISD, live in Pasadena with their son, Ryder.
Jackie Frasure

Jackie and her family came to Texas from Ohio and joined the MBC team in 2008. She has a passion to see kids excited about serving Christ. She and her husband, Joe, have served in ministry for over 20 yrs. They reside in LaPorte with their two boys, AJ & Brandon.

Gwen and Louis are long-time members of Monument Baptist Church. Gwen retired from her 35 year business career and brought her knowledge to work in the church office the past five years. Louis is a retired letter carrier and has been working as the Director of Building and Grounds for the past four years. Both love the church and are very proud that they can still serve as they get older.

April Tolley is proud to be a part of Monument Baptist Church’s outreach with Kid University Preschool. She has been in child care for more than 15 years and has loved every minute of it! She has been married for 14 years and counting, with 5 wonderful children.
